It is sad how as human beings we are so slow to believe in the One who has created us in His image. "I am in the Father and the Father is in me . . . Whoever believes in me will do what I do." Why is it so hard for us to live our lives as Jesus did? What is it that is stopping us? Is it not perhaps the seed of doubt and disbelief that lie in our hearts just as in the hearts of the Jews and the Pharisees or even in the disciples of Christ's own time? And yet, let us not lose heart, Jesus, Himself, said that He has left us His spirit - the Spirit who will make us wise and teach us and reveal the Truth into our hearts and one day we will all come to know that He is in the Father and that we are in Him, just as He is in us, (Jn. 14:20). So we see that God and heaven are not that far away. God and heaven are right here within us! When we realize this wonderful truth then surely we can believe that we can live and do all things as He did.

Spirit of God, reveal to us the Truth that will set us free to live as Christ did.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
