Am I on mission too? Indeed, all who have been baptized in Christ share in the universal Mission of his Church. But get ready to face persecutions, for "the disciple is not superior to his teacher". We are sent like sheep among wolves. Mission Impossible? So it is, in human terms; but remember the Lord's pledge to His Prophets: "I shall be with you". It is repeated in the Old Testament whenever the Prophet shows fear for his mission; and in the New Testament it is addressed to the Church as a whole, in different formulations, for instance, at the conclusion of Matthew's Gospel: "And know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time". We are in good hands - in the hands of Him who takes care of the sparrows! So, fear not, even if He takes your bodily life; if He does, it will be for your good. But who is he who can "destroy both body and soul in hell"? Only God can do so, but He would never do this, unless you force Him; you are the only one who can take this crazy choice; but you are not crazy, are you?

Lord, here I am: send me wherever you wish; I will go without fear, because You are faithful to Your supporting Word. Keep me always faithful to You, and to any mission You ever entrust to me.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That all those who are in prison, and especially young people, may receive the necessary support from society to help them rediscover meaning in their lives.
