Jesus went up to Tabor with three of the disciples who were close to Him. Peter, James and John, There they heard the ineffable voice of the Father. "This is my beloved Son, listen to Him." And suddenly looking around they no longer saw anyone with them but only Jesus.

In Christ we find the fullness of revelation. In His word and life all that God willed to say to humankind and to each person is contained. In Jesus we find all we should know about our own existence, in Jesus we understand the meaning of our daily life. In Jesus everything has been said to us. It is up to us to listen to Him and follow the advice of Mary: "Do whatever He tells you." (John 2:5)

That is our life to hear what Jesus says to us in the intimacy of prayer, in the advice of spiritual direction and through the happenings and events which He sends or permits and to carry on whatever He wants for us.

Our Mother, Mary, whom we honour today being Saturday, teach us to listen to Your Son and to ponder His teaching in our heart, as You well did.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That the Pastors of the Church may always be docile to the action of the Holy Spirit in their teaching and in their service to God's people.
