The Peace of Christ is no ordinary gift of the Risen Lord! It is a Peace that is not of this world: for it has encouraged millions of Christians to endure the hardships, oppression, war, sickness and death with dignity and hope!

Each time we celebrate the Eucharist it is given to us and we give it to each other not being aware of the awesome power we are being given and we communicate to one another!

This Peace is an extension of the very Presence of the Risen Lord in our lives. The tranquility of mind, heart, and spirit empowers us to be fearless and trusting in all circumstances we engage in! This Peace was joyously announced by the Angels to the shepherds in Bethlehem when the birth of Jesus was first announced!

At Easter, this Peace becomes a reality, for each time the Lord visits the Disciples he breathes this gift of Peace.

Lord, may this Peace overflow into our lives!

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
