In 2 Cor 11 verse 7, Paul is highlighting his self- sacrifice and commitment to sharing the Gospel without seeking personal benefit; he considered himself to be contributing to the church at Corinth. Unfortunately, it seems that many had aligned themselves with false teachers in Paul's absence. This frustrated Paul as he had been so faithful in his ministry to the people of Corinth. He wanted them to follow the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul had not even asked the church at Corinth for any support at all but had used the support of other churches while ministering to those at Corinth. His final plea was to declare his love for the people.

Jesus gave His disciples and us a way to pray. It is a way of loving. Beyond the fulfilment of the 613 Jewish commandments (mitzvot), comprising 248 positive commandments of actions to be performed, and 365 negative commandments of actions that are forbidden. The Lord's Prayer provides a simple outline of the way we relate to God. We do not need a lot of words, but we do need to think carefully about our petitions. If we ask for forgiveness, we must be willing to forgive others. We don't need to worry about the future, but only to ask for our daily needs. Our concern should be the Will of God and how we can be instruments used by God to share His love with others by walking the way of Jesus.

Lord, lead me to walk Your way without showing off or any superficiality.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day jul be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
THAT THE WORLD MIGHT GROW IN COMPASSION.
Let us pray that each one of us might find consolation in a personal relationship with Jesus, and from his Heart, learn to have compassion on the world.
