The Kingdom of God is the Person of Jesus Christ. The Risen Lord lives in our midst today. But, why do we so often not realise this in our day-to-day living? Have we forgotten the Risen Lord? Do we look here and look there to find Him, but to no avail? Perhaps due to our lack of faith in Him, we have allowed the trials of life, anxiety, anger, fear and hurt to trap us in endless cycles of helplessness. We feel overwhelmed.

Remembering is important. In sacred Scriptures, our ancestors in faith were reminded frequently to remember. Thus, we are also called to remember our life-giving identity won by Jesus for us in God. We remember and beg God for the grace to have the obstacles we placed in the path of grace to be removed. Then will our minds be illuminated to freedom of love and healing. Ask Jesus today to transform our fear-sensing thinking into a hope-resilient one. That our values, attitudes and perspectives may align themselves to those of God's. Only then can there be a change in our behaviour and life-style. Even our body shall rest in safety and will respond to health and wholeness.

Remember that each day is imbued richly with the Spirit of the Risen Jesus and nothing can overwhelm us in life, because we have Jesus. To remember that I am in a sense also "the Kingdom of God" because Jesus is; and He lives in me!

Master, let me see again.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer you everything I do this day. I offer you my prayers, thoughts, words, joys and sufferings in union with the Eucharistic sacrifice of your Son Jesus Christ. May the Holy Spirit who guided and empowered Jesus be my guide and strength so that I can be a witness to your love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
Let us pray for the proper use of wealth, that, without succumbing to the temptation of selfishness, it may always be put at the service of the common good and in solidarity with those who have less.
