九日敬禮是無論如何也取代不了「七大對經」的，除非有適當的音樂。其實梵二前的禮儀的美，是離不開音樂。把七大對經用中文唸也好，用英文唸也好，是完全不同用詠唱的方法。我不是說要用額我略不額我略，這是別的一個問題。(喜不喜歡額我略，也不是品味的問題，最怕人**假裝**是額我略音樂迷。）從禮儀的角度來說，梵二禮儀改革的貢獻，就是把所有的東西用本地話譯了過來，但是並沒有完全的禮儀音樂配套。以前是歌詞加上音樂，現在在音樂上的表達，還要去摸索

當然可以！若不能參與平日感恩祭的教友，都可以把彌撒讀經在家中讀，更可況是日課經呢？可參考下列禱文，這是把七對經變作對答式禱文。

This is a big problem. Liturgy not being set to appropriate music is regrettable; not being set to music at all is sad indeed.
It has much to do with spirituality. The 'sacred silence', however, emphasised, is weak in attempt to foster peace of mind and proximity with the Holy Spirit in any liturgy.
In most churches in HK these days, masses are invariably celebrated in GREAT haste.
We have choir members scampering to receive holy communion BEFORE they would start their 'Communion Song' (which SHOULD start when the celebrant receives holy communion); commentators rushing to announce lengthy church announcements while the celebrant is 'dish washing' the chalice and the goublets, etc. When finally, people try to set things right, oppositions flare up like mad.
What is wrong with our liturgical tradition?
