Frankly, I don't understand much about politics.
But I do know that in Red China, it is "illegal" for catholics to refuse to join the Patriotic Association.
If "遵紀守法" means schism (Pius XII AD APOSTOLORUM PRINCIPIS 1958) I think that is against our Faith.

讀完歸一的第二封信,相信是為教會一言堂的作風,竟與其大力反對的强權不謀而合,實是可悲!
面對强權,教會先以「小小」的僕人自居,痛斥「高高」在上的强權自然是容易得到支持。居小實是佔先的高明手法!歸一筆在你手,自居「小小」教友,對方自然是「高高」在上的强權,你何嘗不是用居小的佔先方法!但教會面對强權,强權實在是可以打壓教會。歸一面對强權,强權對他卻做不了什麼。所以歸一還是佔先了!
歸一的第一封信,確是如「牧杖」所言,正好表現出了一而多,實是可喜。但第二封信用同樣口吻再衝撞多一次,就變成了沒有需要了!除了叫局外人和外教人見笑之外,實在起不了什麼作用。

哇,edward這問題認真'和味',裴樂道神父(主業會)開班,也要講八講才大約cover 了這複雜問題。不過我個人覺得實在有必要加強信眾在這方面的神學義理認識。
隨便引聖經不行的:羅馬人書中,聖保祿又說,要服從當位者,豈不教人費解?
教會不認同kelsen的所謂法律有絕對自主權,而認為一切世俗法也'應'以倫理為依歸。
依法治理當然不是不對,但教會看得深入些:法要合理,合義,而義理亦以倫理作基礎,倫理的大前題,是社會的正義與和諧,不正義就不能有和諧,但為正義的旗幟而破壞和諧,亦不在提倡之列,因為跟惡法一樣,這些鬥爭是人為而不是divine,是同樣具有負面罪性的物事,非常容易給manipulate,所以用這手法是以暴易暴,他老人家對於抗爭是不認同的。

Augustine - The reality is, many joined the Patriotic group, but in fact still follow Papal teachings.
They need our help!
