Please don't misunderstands, Fleet-bird.
I am not opposed to legitimate inculturation, ie, not have the risks of suggesting any error.
They are practically inavoidable.
Eg: the use of vernacular in Holy Sacrifice of Mass instead of Latin.(as long as the translation has been censored and ecclesiastically approved)
I am pointing to the unneccasry gestures of imitating practices of Faiths of other professions in the name of enriching our Catholic Tradition of Spirituality, while causing immediately confusion and doubt to common Catholics.
Note again I have not asserted these practices are themselves heretical. The Holy Office will do the job. THey ARE simply arrogant abuse of Christian freedom and grace(like the late Merton).
