在社會倫理部份，我寫了今天信報都市志的報導，不過報導中有一部份我覺得又好有趣的：
(陳主教說)"我很慚愧，我們也不是很有系統，很有組織知道教區下各教堂，有多少信徒是老闆，從而建議他們在失業的情況中，為僱員想辦法，我們從來沒有插手各教堂的事。"
我們如何理解最後一句話呢？

真人真事:日前到crc晚宴,膈壁卓子的老太太們紛紛議論著主教給堂區神父收留居港權人士的指示,十分氣憤,認為主教'踩過界'!她們認為堂區是她們信友的,主教要先給她們打招呼,得她們的同意才成!

究竟主教和堂區的關係如何？
就我所屬的聖公會來說，（我們統稱牧區及傳道區為堂區），堂區的牧者是由主教委派，代表主教到堂區服務。因此，堂主任只是主教的代表，堂區的真正負責人是主教。
某年我堂的部分教友，覺得主教唔俾面，竟然派一位會吏到我堂而沒有徵詢他們的意見，覺得主教不尊重他們，結果他們集體離開了教會，另建立一個新的教會。
我認為主教既然是真正堂區的話事人，那麼他派何人來或調走哪位牧者，就不是我們信徒可以左右的，我們只可以和主教商量，最後的定奪權仍歸主教。
不知天主教會的兄姊們，您們的司鐸是否亦代表主教來處理堂區事務及牧養呢？

cc姐,crc是甚麼團體,有這麼多"獨料"?我只知cyc和clc喳.
那些老太太們可能返錯了教會了,她們可能以為自己是在基督教的congregational church,天主教會在梵二前一直是家長制的,幾時有給信友否決權了.
就算是梵二後,在體制上有"多些"民主,但決策權仍不是民主的.
就算主教要她們的堂區"摺埋"也只是要諮詢司鐸議會,是不用先給她們(堂區)打招呼的,
她們同不同意也可"摺埋佢". 和她們打招呼只是比面她們吧了,

依納爵兄,
我想天主教會和聖公會在此問題上分別不大,只是我們不能到第二處另立門戶.
教律有云:The pastoral care of the parish is entrusted to a pastor as its own shepherd under the authority of the diocesan bishop. (c515.1)
但他是否"主教的代表"就要看怎樣去理解"代表". 如說他是堂區的own shepherd時,他就不是代表,而是本有的職份了.

Steve, you mean a social club?but is it a "catholic" association of faithful?
How can they know Bishop has an instruction to the pastor? It should be top secret.

I think cecil is refering to the chinese recreation club in causeway bay.
Funny enough, doesnt parish work like a club?

Steve is right - the CRC is just a social recreation club where many parishioners of my parish frequent in their day to day social activities.
Of course, they have had much 'say' in parish affairs for many years. It would be difficult to 'enforce' things against any one who have had the liberty of doing things they think are right for so long, as I fully appreciate now that I have been working with them for a couple of months.
So is the Bishop, I suppose. As he said, he is not having an enjoyable' or "得意" time with the faithful in many ways.

No wonder the all-time famous saying in a Parish - "Vatican is Vatican. Here we are in a local parish"!!!
