我是英國出世的中國人，所以我的中文不很好，對不起！:(
So the rest of my post will be in English :)
I have seen the Chinese Edition of the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church 《天主教教理》的「精要版」的中文版 mentioned on these forums - does that mean it has been published? I can see the main Catechism on the HK Catholic Centre website (http://www.catholiccentre.org.hk/cbook.asp?lKey=791&bSearchResult=True ) but I can't find the Compendium there. I was wondering whether it is just because they don't stock it, or whether it is because the Chinese Translation hasn't been finished yet? (or perhaps just that I am not very good at searching the site!) I tried emailing them but got no reply.
I know that the Chinese text of main CCC is available online (e.g. http://www.cathlinks.org/ccc-toc.htm ), and also that the English translation of the Compendium is on the official Vatican website. If anybody knows of an online version of the Chinese Compendium that would be great, thanks!

p.s. I can speak and understand verbal Cantonese, but my reading/writing skills are much poorer... (and slower!) so please let me know if I violate any of the terms of these Forums, I have not been able to get through reading all of them / the FAQ page.

Probably you don't mean "Cathechism of Catholic Doctrine" - English and Chinese Text, do you?
That is a tiny book and is avalable in 公教進行社.

It's not a particularly tiny book, but it IS smaller than the main Catechism. It is structured to be very closely similar to the CCC, each paragraph in the Compendium references a couple of paragraphs in the CCC.
I've seen one or two posts on here mention the English and Italian versions:

So I was hoping to find out more about whether there is a Chinese version and how to get hold of it...

我猜想正式的中譯本還未面世吧。翻譯並不容易，尤其是關於不能錯的天主教教理。
以yahoo來找尋，有這麼一句：
「看梵諦岡的最近出版的Compendium OF THECATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC HURCH，白正龍蒙席的中文試譯本
」
但再用「白正龍」找尋，又沒有下落了。

Yes, I too would not be surprised if the official translation had not been finished yet. I just wanted to check to see if anybody had heard anything different.
