Yesterday we saw in the First Reading about what makes us all one in Christ. Today, we are reminded that within that unity there is a great diversity. Each one of us has been given a special gift. That gift is not just for ourselves but is the special ability with which we are called to serve the Christian and the wider community. Each of us working together through our unique gift are called to build up the Body of Christ and, in so doing, each of us becomes the kind of person that God wants us to be. Together, we find the strength to resist the harmful forces that threaten us. Always 'speaking the truth in love', we grow together into Christ. Collectively we become the Body of Christ, the visible presence of God's love in the world.

We are one in the Spirit, one in the Lord.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That, firm in their faith, Christians may be eager to dialogue with those who belong to another religious tradition.
