Following Jesus leads to fraternal giving with all His followers and this is a life of communion. And this life, based on love, should show certain characteristics which will express clearly and faithfully the love for one another. This is why, the communitarian living of the Christian love should manifest a disinterested spirit of service, with sacrifice to avoid whatever may hurt our brothers and sisters or even scandalize them, and whatever may hurt the life of love.

The last verses of our Gospel today tell us that the community (Christian) life, lived according to these demands of love, is the authentic sacrifice pleasing to God.

Happy are those who follow the path of love of the Lord, for the Lord watches over their way.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
