Today we come to the end of the Parables of the Kingdom. They are images of the Church living in the world and bearing witness to the Way of Life which Jesus proposed as a way for peoples everywhere. Today's parable points to the end of time. There will come a time for the end of the Kingdom on earth and then those who belong and those who do not will be clearly distinguished and separated from each other. That is something which cannot and should not be done now as the parable of the weeds indicated. It is never too late to change! While the end of our world is something no one knows, what is more relevant is that we prepare for the time when we ourselves are called to be face to face with our God. And the best guarantee that we are ready is that each day we do our best to live the Way of the Gospel, the way of love and truth, of justice and compassion and invite others to do the same. Living our lives each day "through Him, with Him and in Him". When we do that, the future will be taken care of.

O Lord, may Your Kingdom come; Your will be done on earth. And may I be part of it.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.
