"Stay awake, stand ready". This is the clarion call for those of us who believe in the 'nowness' of the Christian experience. Our God lives with us in the Now of our being. He challenges us to live a full and eventful live - making use of all the gifts He has entrusted to us. Like the wise servant who carried out his duties well, we are entrusted with the stewardship of our talents and graces. We need to use them and share them - and in doing so give glory to God the Giver of all good gifts.

It is this alertness and readiness to enter into life that gives Christianty its vitality. Our God is a God of love who only wants what is best for us. God is love. It is due to this that we are able to venture forth into a world fraught with danger and despair, with our hearts filled with trust and confidence in a loving God who works for good, for all who love Him.

Come Lord Jesus - Maranatha!

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.
