It is only two weeks to Pentecost. The readings of these days help us to know better the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the FELT presence of the Father and the Son. The Father is very present in the World, as an on-going creator. And the last words of the Son, when going back to the Father, were: "And know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time" (Mt 28:20). We know by Faith that the Father and the Son are present in the World, in the Church, in individual hearts; but not always do we feel this presence; like Jesus when crying "Abba (Father)!" in the Garden, had no doubt that the Father was beside Him, but did not feel His presence, because it was a time of trial. Today's Gospel says that the Spirit "will remind you of all I have said to you". The words Jesus pronounced in the past become present by the action of the Spirit, So Jesus is speaking to me here and now. At times this presence is felt strongly, as in the Emmaus experience (Lk 24-32).

Come, Holy Spirit, and make me feel the active presence of the Father, making me His partner in transforming the World; make me feel the presence of the Son teaching me how to be a son. Amen.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
