"Teach me your ways, O Lord". All our lives, we can recite this prayer with the Psalmist, for, each day of our life, we must be open to the guidance of God. The ways of the Lord are pathways of truth and grace and light. They will lead us through life in this world and bring us to eternal life. The Psalmist perceptively states that God teaches his ways to the humble. Humility is the virtue which enables us to accept the truth and to rejoice in it. God's ways are not our ways, and so we must learn to recognize them through in humble faith.

Then, too, humility is the fruit of truth, especially the truth that acknowledges our relationship with God. God's ways are not our ways, and humility will teach us to be glad and rejoice in the mysterious ways of God that bring us truth and peace, light and hope.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and so we are assured that by knowing Jesus more clearly, loving him more dearly and following him more closely, we will more certainly and securely live according to the ways of God.

Father in heaven, teach us Your ways. Holy Spirit, guide us in following Jesus and so bring us safely to eternal life.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That, faced by the growing expansion of the culture of violence and death, the Church may courageously promote the culture of life through all her apostolic and missionary activities.
