Today Saul comes face to face with the truth. Contrary to everything he thinks is possible, Jesus is alive. Not only this, Saul discovers that Jesus is the Son of God. This realization changes everything. Saul's whole identity, mission in life and belief in God begin to be transformed.

In the Gospel, Jesus speaks about his body and blood. He says that it leads to eternal life. More than this, Jesus speaks of how we abide in him and how he abides in us if we eat his flesh and drink his blood.

Christ is alive and calls us to be with him eternally. Yet, he invites us to begin to share in his life now. He invites us to discover that he is present and abiding in our lives already.

Have you ever had an experience of Christ that touched you profoundly? Have you ever, not just known, but deeply experienced that Jesus is truly alive and active in your life?

We are invited to recognize his presence in our lives¡Kto take time to remember it¡Kand linger in it. When we do this, we allow his abiding presence to nourish us. When we do this, we allow his abiding presence to transform us.

Lord, help me to see more clearly that You are alive and at work in my life.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
