"Go on speaking, and do not be silent, for I am with you."

We live in a time when the unwritten laws of the world challenge God's commandment of love. Children choose to skip Sunday Mass to go for swimming classes. Catholic parents choose to ignore moral codes in order to make more money. Elders prefer to be respected by their peers than to bear witness to our faith. During these occasions Our Lord says, as he said in a vision to Paul: "Go on speaking, and do not be silent, for I am with you."

More often the way we live bears better witness to our faith than our words. In the process there may be moments when we say, I "weep and mourn, while the world rejoices" and that is when we need to remember that we may grieve now, but our grief will one day become joy.

Lord, give me the faith to experience Your love, the strength to be with You and the courage to take up your cross and follow You.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.
