Though Jesus has revealed everything possible for the Disciples - us included; to understand, still there are many things we still do not understand or comprehend. It is the Spirit's work to open our minds. Revelation is on-going; the Spirit guides us in many ways in the very context of our daily lives. Like the 'manna' in the desert; we have sufficient for now and each day Jesus had earlier warned us in the Gospel: 'Do not worry about tomorrow' (Mt. 6:34).

Like little children, we'll only be told a little at a time, because that's all we can take or grasp!

We cannot absorb the fullness of revelation. We need the patience to see God's work unfolding in all of his creation. God once told Moses; You cannot see my face and live (Exodus 33:20-21).

So many of us have misgivings these days and think God has lost control of the world He created. “To see the miraculous within the ordinary is the work of highest wisdom.” Ralph Waldo Emerson.

God is not someone to be afraid of, but the ground of our being and on our side. As St. Teresa of Avila said the Spirit will lead us until “You find God in yourself and yourself in God.”

In You, Lord, is the source of life and in Your Light we find life!

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That, rejecting the culture of indifference, we may care for our neighbors who suffer, especially the sick and the poor.
