Follow Me: words that changed the life of the disciples and through them our life as well. The disciples accepted to follow Jesus all the way: they left their boats, their lifestyle and even their families. For them, it was all or nothing.

A vocation to follow Jesus will demand from us all or nothing if we are sincere in what we set out to do!

The "Kingdom of God" that Jesus came to bring about was God's saving and liberating activity! It is the powerful love of GOD that Jesus brings into human life and experience. It is equally a challenging love: both a gift and a task. It, therefore, demands an appropriate response! Jesus calls this response: repentance; a CHANGE of heart!

The Good News of Jesus is an invitation and a task! Let us open our lives at the beginning of this year to this invitation. We are confronted with the gift of God's love: can we refuse to accept the challenge to follow Jesus in the way He leads us?

LORD, I want to listen to your Word! Give me your Grace!

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.
