Why do you seek the Living One among the dead? You won't find Him here. He is risen.'

This was what the two messengers from God said to the women - Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary, the mother of James, who had come to the tomb expecting to embalm the body of Jesus. They didn't expect an empty tomb; they had forgotten that Jesus had foretold his own Passion, Death and Resurrection until themessengers reminded them of it. Then they remembered and believed, even without seeing the actual event of the Resurrection. Their faith transformed them from being motherly or sisterly providers, carers, and now, mourners of Jesus, to spreaders of the Good News - the Lord has risen!

Peter was among the doubters of the messengers. He got up and ran to the tomb. And what did he see? An empty tomb, and no angels appeared to him. He went home wondering....

Increase and strengthen my faith that I may see You, my Lord and my Living God, in all things. Lord Jesus Christ, make me a spreader of the Good News!

May God be blessed!

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
We pray for health care workers who serve the sick and the elderly, especially in the poorest countries; may they be adequately supported by governments and local communities.
