The power of the Resurrection has broken into our world, challenging the structures of power, whether political or religious, which operate in our World in opposition to the values of the Kingdom which Christ preached. It challenges those structures, not through the use of violence and hatred, but rather through the power of the Spirit, which is recognized in its power to heal and reconcile, as well as its power to instil courage, peace, and all the other spiritual gifts. After receiving the power of Christ's resurrection in the coming of His Spirit, the Apostles were transformed from the timid and ineffectual followers of Jesus into articulate witnesses to the power of his resurrection. We too are invited to welcome the same Spirit into our own lives and allow it to transform us into witnesses of the Gospel so that we can be sent into the World to share the healing and reconciling power of Jesus' resurrection with those we meet in our lives. In this Easter Season as we enter more fully into the joy of the Lord, we pray ardently for the gift of the Lord's Spirit and an experience of its healing and transformative power in our own hearts and lives so we may we find the courage to proclaim: The Lord is Risen! He is truly Risen!

Lord, give us the courage to live as Your disciples and become witnesses of Your risen power.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation between persons and people may be understood and that the Church through her testimony, may spread Christ's love, the source of new humanity.
