The kingdom of heaven is like a net thrown into the sea. The net gathers all kinds of fish in its way. The Church, like the net, has all kinds of members: the good, the bad, the holy and the unholy, the sincere and the insincere. Just as all the fish are gathered into the one net, so all people are called to be members of the kingdom and to enjoy eternal life. The fishermen do not gather the fish just to leave them in the net, but to use them and make profit. In the same way, God calls us to the Kingdom of Heaven because He has something that He wants us to do. He wants us to celebrate eternal life with all.

Jesus also spoke about the end of the world. He really wanted to be sure that His message was understood. Finally, He asked His apostles "Have you understood all of this?" They said, "Yes". Then, do it was Jesus' response. In other words, the man owning his house or business knows how to be resourceful. He does not limit himself to one way of acting. He does not follow the same routine ways all the time. This is the meaning of 'the householder can bring out new things and old'.

Lord, teach me to be resourceful so that I may always proclaim Your love and wisdom.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That respect for the environment, God's gift to all men and women, may increase both on a personal level and on that of world public opinion.
